Giving Back
Art has given me so much — a sense of purpose, a way to connect with others, process difficult emotions, and something positive to hold onto during difficult times.
As my work begins to find its way into other people’s homes, I want it to give something back too.
As of October 2026, I am donating 10% from the sale of my artwork, divided equally between two charities that are incredibly close to my heart:
5% to ME Research UK
5% to Butterfly Thyroid Cancer Trust

Why these charities?
My own experience of living with both ME/CFS and thyroid cancer has had a profound impact on my life and on my family.
ME/CFS can be an incredibly disabling and often misunderstood illness. ME Research UK funds biomedical research to improve our understanding of the condition and, ultimately, find better treatments for those living with it.
Butterfly Thyroid Cancer Trust supports people affected by thyroid cancer throughout diagnosis, treatment and beyond. Having experienced thyroid cancer myself, I know how important it can be to have access to reliable information, understanding and support during an uncertain and frightening time.
Supporting both charities feels like a natural extension of my work and of the journey that brought me back to painting.
How it works
When someone buys an original artwork or print through my website, 10% of the artwork purchase price, excluding postage and delivery charges, is donated to charity, with 5% donated to ME Research UK and 5% to Butterfly Thyroid Cancer Trust.
I’m a small independent artist, so I know the amounts I raise may be modest, particularly in the beginning. But I truly believe that small contributions matter, and I love knowing that every sale can become part of something bigger.
Over time, I hope to share updates here on how much we raise and donate.
More than a painting
When you choose one of my creations, you’re not only bringing a piece of my work into your home.
You’re also helping support research, understanding and care for people whose lives have been affected by illnesses that have shaped my own.
That means more to me than I can easily put into words.
Thank you for supporting my art, my journey, and the causes that mean so much to me.
Much love,
Natalie x
